![]() Data Ecosystems for Sustainable Mobility. The Case of the M3 Project
Nowadays, cities generate huge volumes of mobility-related data from multiple sources such as urban sensors, mobile applications, transport operators and digital platforms. However, much of this information remains fragmented or underutilized, without being effectively integrated into planning and decision-making processes. This session will address the construction of data ecosystems (dataspaces) for sustainable mobility as collaborative environments that allow sharing, governing and interoperating data between different actors in a secure and efficient way.
30 September 2025
14:00 h CEST
Through the case of the M3 project, it will be presented how a data-driven approach can transform urban mobility management. The session will include the presentation of two case studies illustrating the implementation of the M3 data ecosystem in real-world contexts, showing how predictive models, integrated analytics and more effective policies can be generated from previously untapped data. The discussion will be aimed at urban professionals, public decision makers, technology companies and academics interested in the transition to smarter and more sustainable cities. |
