In the framework of a global context where the limits between civil and military use of technology are increasingly blurred, this round table will address one of the major strategic challenges of the aerospace sector: its dual nature.
Under the title “Technology with Two Faces”, space technologies initially developed for civilian uses (such as satellite navigation, Earth observations or telecommunications) have today an increasing application in security and defense fields, and vice versa, will be discussed.
