This demonstrator showcases a sensorized robotic gripper featuring a flexible surface equipped with advanced sensors capable of detecting forces, contact points, and deformations in real time during object manipulation. Thanks to this technology, the robot can adjust its gripping force, handle delicate items with precision, and interact with people more safely and efficiently.
Its applications span a wide range of sectors, including logistics, industrial automation, collaborative robotics, healthcare, and advanced manufacturing. By combining printed electronics, smart materials, and additive manufacturing, conventional surfaces are transformed into advanced sensory interfaces, bringing robotics closer to a new dimension of perception.
