3D Printing in Healthcare: From Clinical Innovation to Collaboration Among Hospitals
3D printing is transforming clinical practice by creating personalized anatomical models, prosthetics, medical devices, and new tools for biomedical research. In this session, representatives from Hospital del Mar and Hospital Clínic de Barcelona will share use cases, lessons learned, and challenges related to additive manufacturing in hospital settings.
The panel will also discuss the recent collaboration launched with the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona, through the joint management and operation of 3D printing capabilities at the 3D Incubator, with the goal of accelerating healthcare innovation projects and fostering collaboration with researchers, startups, and companies in the sector.
